We are a joint venture between AME Elite Consortium Berhad and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK), both listed on Bursa Malaysia, focused on developing high-quality, well-planned industrial spaces that support business growth.

You will be initially based at AME Headquarters in Johor Bahru for approximately three (3) months of training. After your training, you will relocate to Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh, to continue working on the project with the team.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assist the Contract Manager in their duties of managing a portfolio of corporate contracts.
  • Perform and provide supervision to all contractual matter, tendering & procurement (i.e. contracts, cost control, cashflow, project budgeting, project administrations, claims, cost analysis, etc).
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award and payment of contractors / suppliers.
  • Liaise with Client / Consultant / Contractor / Sub-contractors / Suppliers / other functional department team on contractual matters including payment claims, variation orders, extension of time, cost estimate, quotation, etc.
  • Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
  • Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract.
  • Manage and prepare all contract documentation and agreements, as well as provide support in the drafting of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements.
  • Advise and resolve requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claims.
  • Ability to understand processes and conduct audits (i.e. review contractors & suppliers performance against KPIs and performance measures).
  • Supervising the performance of the quantity surveyor & junior quantity surveyor to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 Years working experience in the related field.
  • Good knowledge of standard conditions of contracts & MS Office.
  • Ability to multi tasks, co-ordinate and communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Focused, diligent and a positive attitude.

 

Working Locations:

Training  (First 3 Months)  AME HQ  : No.2, Jalan I-Park SAC 1/1, Taman Perindustrian I-Park SAC, 81400 Senai, Johor.

Post-Training : Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh.
