Company Overview

I Stay Management Sdn Bhd, part of the AME Group of Companies is a leading dormitory management company providing accommodation solutions to foreign workers. We provide well-managed dormitories with good infrastructure and security service facilities that constantly meet the expectation of our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handle procurement of hardware, maintenance supplies and related materials based on requisitions from the Maintenance team.
  • Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and contractors, including China-based suppliers.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality before making purchases.
  • Coordinate and negotiate service contracts with service providers for dormitory operations.
  • Prepare and submit complete procurement documentation for all purchases — including vending machine supplies — to the Accounts department for payment processing.
  • Manage vending machine product procurement, including staying updated on the latest promotions and pricing from suppliers.
  • Liaise with vending machine suppliers on product returns, exchanges and related matters.
  • Assist in sourcing and engaging contractors for new dormitory setup projects.
  • Guide and coordinate with Stock Keeper/Warehouse Coordinator to ensure accurate inventory records and adequate stock levels.
  • Travel to company offices/dormitories within the Kulai, Senai, and Gelang Patah areas as required.
  • Maintain proper procurement records and filing in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing Management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement or a related role.
  • Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; ability to speak and write in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of AutoCount accounting/inventory software is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and a reputation for honesty and integrity.
  • Possess own transport and valid driving licence; willing to travel within Kulai, Senai and Gelang Patah areas.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
